Arjen Helder is the inventor of FlexBeam and a product inventor in photobiomodulation (red + near-infrared light). His work has always focused on practical devices that people actually use at home, consistently. After years of development and real-world feedback, Arjen is now launching AriHelder, a new generation red + NIR home device produced in Chiang Mai and designed specifically for Thailand and Asia, where typical global price points exclude most households.
AriHelder is built around a simple idea: make powerful photobiomodulation accessible again through home-first design, reliable performance, and local production.

Christian Barmen is a biohacker, entrepreneur, and operator based in Thailand, and co-founder of FlexBeam together with Arjen Helder. He has spent years building at the intersection of biohacking, science-driven wellness, and real-world product execution. Today, Christian is building AriHelder in Chiang Mai with a focus on making high-quality red and near-infrared light therapy practical and affordable for Thailand and Asia through local manufacturing and direct-to-customer distribution. As an avid reader, Christian prefers long-form conversations and deep dives over short-form soundbites. He speaks openly about what works and what doesn't, from the science and routines to pricing for local markets, manufacturing realities, distribution, and how to build a durable brand in Asia.
