How to position the device
The Helder 2 operates at 20 cm from the target area using the arm mount. For the shoulder, position the device facing the aspect of the joint most relevant to your issue — anterior, lateral, or posterior. The arm mount keeps the session hands-free throughout.
Set up the arm mount
Attach the Helder 2 to the arm mount. Position the device face 20 cm from the shoulder joint — front for anterior shoulder and biceps tendon, side for lateral deltoid, rear for posterior capsule and rotator cuff.
Select body mode at full power
Set the Helder 2 to body mode, full power. Verified output: 10.47W total — NIR 856nm: 9,242 mW · Red 631nm: 1,228 mW. The NIR channel provides the deeper penetration relevant to rotator cuff and joint capsule structures.
Run the session
Hold the position for 20 minutes. Wear appropriate eye protection. For comprehensive shoulder coverage, rotate targeting across sessions — anterior one day, lateral the next, posterior the third.
